Sephora Haul

1.Marc Jacobs Palette - Lolita 2. Maybelline Color Tattoo - Tough As Taupe 3. Sephora Mineral Powder Brush 4. Tarte Amazonian Clay Blush - Tipsy

Sephora, the one word which sends the make-up obsessed into a frenzy of panic, joy and excitement.

A few weeks ago I compiled a lengthy list complete with an order of preference for my best friend Hannah to take to New York with her and yesterday evening she arrived armed with that iconic glossy black bag filled with goodies. I'd had this feeling of excitement before... I was about 7 years old and it was Christmas Eve.

The first thing I grabbed out of the bag was the Marc Jacobs 'Lolita' palette. I had been swooning over this online for months and it certainly didn't disappoint, 7 beautiful golden nudes encased in the most stunning packaging I had ever seen. I didn't know it was possible to harbour such strong emotions for an eyeshadow palette... but I genuinely haven't stopped looking at this since the minute I got it out of the bag.

Next up is the Maybelline Color Tattoo in 'Touge As Taupe' now although we can get these here in the UK the colour selection is limited and I wanted to try a more neutral shade without the shimmer. First impressions... I think we'll get along just fine.

Third out of the bag was the Sephora Mineral Powder Brush, I've heard great things about this and judging by it's density and soft bristles, this looks like it's going to be perfect for liquid foundations.

Last but by no means least was the Tarte Amazonian Clay Blush in Tipsy, the perfect blend of peach and pink ready for Spring/Summer.

I'll pop up some more in-depth reviews over the next few weeks when I've had a chance to play with my new goodies, but for now I'll leave you UK based ladies some exciting news, Sephora now ships to the UK! So if anything in this post had taken your fancy and you aren't heading stateside anytime soon, you can put in an order online.
